Lauren Kornutik has found that her yoga practice helps bring her more in tune with herself and those around her. From the physical practice, to the mental aspects of meditation, she includes many approaches of yoga to fit her lifestyle. She believes that yoga can be anything that brings ease to both the body and mind -- some days her yoga is sitting with a hot cup of coffee!
As a teacher, Lauren curates all classes to consider safe sequencing, places emphasis on specific chakras, and guides her students to be more in line with their mind and body, Having a B.S. in Exercise Science, she is able to fine-tune body alignments using her extensive knowledge of bio-mechanics and anatomy. Her hands on adjustments offer students the subtle differences of shapes that can transform the way they feel. Being able to guide others is something that Lauren values as a healing practice for herself as well.
